Summer just doesn’t seem complete without eating a large number of s’mores. During vacations at the beach growing up, we used to keep tally sheets on how many we’d eaten. I never won (or even came close – it was usually my dad), but we had a great time trying to out eat each other in marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers.

Fourth of July just doesn’t seem complete without s’mores – even if you have to roast the marshmallows over the grill. Say thank you to your guests for coming to your patriotic celebration with a set of s’mores favor kits.

The marshmallows were placed in glassine bags and a festive star cutout was added to the front for a decorative touch.

We used our chocolate bar template to cut a candy bar wrapper from Fourth of July themed paper we found at our local craft store. Check out our chocolate bar wrapper tutorial for directions.

4. Place all of the s’mores kit ingredients in the bucket. Download, print and cut out a favor tag from the Patriotic Printables Collection.  Punch a hole for easy hanging.  Attach the tag using red and blue baker’s twine.

We’ll be adding these to our guests individual place settings on the Fourth of July to get them ready for sweet dessert fun!  I also have extra s’mores making supplies to refill their buckets and send our friends home with some marshmallow goodness to enjoy at home!

Happy Celebrating,
